Using a dozen “Resurrection Eggs,” each volunteer opened an egg while Elizabeth read a Bible verse and explained the small symbol contained inside each egg which illustrated different aspects of the Easter story.
Old Business was presented by Mrs. Schaubert.
- She encouraged those who are very close to the 50 geranium mark to sell more and turn in the money to her by the end of the week. She also told us that if we sell $150 in Hacienda gift cards we will still be eligible to attend the pizza party to be held on June 5th, before our 4-H Meeting.
- We were instructed to bring in our old unused manuals or return them to the 4-H Extension office so they can be recycled.
- We then held a clapping competition to vote on who had the most 4-H spirit and who wore the most 4-H green. Six girls received awards of 4-H Rubber stamps and 4-H Key Chains. Those rewards went to: Katherine C., Kara R., Taya L., Leah T., Hannah T. and Leah R..
